A novidade nasce do trabalho conjunto entre a SAIC e a Volkswagen. A estratégia busca fortalecer a presença da marca alemã frente ao avanço rápido das fabricantes locais.
Mesmo posicionada como opção de entrada entre os modelos ID. Era 8X, ID. Era 9X e o sedã ID. Era 5S, a novidade entrega dimensões bem generosas.
Proporções e espaço interno superior
As medidas da novidade remetem diretamente à fórmula de um Tiguan totalmente elétrico.
O SUV conta com 4,56 metros de comprimento, 1,90 metro de largura e 1,63 metro de altura.
Em relação ao Tiguan, ele é 14 cm mais curto e 4 cm mais baixo, porém ganha 4 cm na largura.
A grande cartada do projeto está no entre-eixos de 2,82 metros. Esse número supera em 3 cm a medida do Tiguan conhecido no Brasil.
Esse ganho estrutural facilita o alojamento das baterias no assoalho. Como resultado direto, quem viaja no banco traseiro ganha excelente espaço para as pernas.
Design fluído e conjunto mecânico
O visual aposta em linhas limpas e soluções modernas de aerodinâmica.
Na frente, os faróis principais ficam integrados ao para-choque, acompanhados por uma assinatura luminosa fina no topo.
As laterais trazem superfícies suaves, maçanetas retráteis e colunas traseiras escurecidas. O recurso visual cria a sensação de teto flutuante.
Proteções em plástico preto cobrem a parte inferior da carroceria para evitar danos em pequenos impactos do dia a dia.
Sob o teto mecânico, o utilitário adota um motor elétrico capaz de entregar 211 cv de potência.
A tração ainda não teve sua posição confirmada, podendo atuar no eixo dianteiro ou traseiro.
A bateria utiliza química de fosfato de ferro-lítio (LFP), fornecida pela parceira CATL. A capacidade total da bateria e a autonomia final seguem em segredo.
Tecnologia de ponta e cabine conectada
Um dos destaques do teto é uma pequena elevação localizada logo acima do para-brisa.
O espaço abriga um sensor Lidar, tecnologia de radar a laser voltada para condução semiautônoma.
O equipamento suporta sistemas de nível 2++, capazes de auxiliar na direção, aceleração e frenagem em vias urbanas e estradas.
No interior, as imagens revelam uma grande tela flutuante destacada no centro do painel.
A central multimídia terá inteligência artificial integrada, auxiliando no processamento de comandos por voz e no traçado de rotas.
As vendas do modelo começam nos próximos meses na China, sem previsão de chegada ao mercado global.
